Lea Rasovszky (* 1986) graduated from the photo / video faculty at the National University of Art in Bucharest. She works on the border of painting, drawing and installation. Lea Rasovszky is interested in human face, which she turns into a harsh and ironic cartoon of dream boys, muscular and mainstream idols, that casts a critical look at the settled dust of social conventions. Lea Rasovszky is an artist, curator and co-founder of the non-profit organization MATKA, which focuses on new strategies in education through art and creativity, focusing on disadvantaged areas of Bucharest.

Lea Rasovszky’s exhibition is a part of the Block of Romanian Exhibitions project.
